Dry humping as a saucy alternative

Vary your sex routine - take a break from penetration

If you’re secretly bored by the thought of sex with your lover tonight, especially the same old foreplay routine leading to penetrative intercourse, try a sex act that teenagers tend to be more familiar with than adults.
Dry humping or dry sex – which is anything but dry and much more fun when things are very wet! – is the act of rubbing your body against your partner's as if having sex, but actual contact of your genitals is prevented by your clothing.

Your imagination is the limit
Far from limping in second place to penetration, dry humping can be an exciting alternative because your imagination is the limit: whatever cavity or mound you decide to rub yourself against may provide new, delicious stimulation. Especially if you introduce some form of lubrication like a massage butter or lubricant for added slippery appeal and to intensify the stimulation.
This act is highly appealing because you can be clothed, partially clothed or totally nude and still get off on it. And an added bonus is that if you don’t want to risk pregnancy or catching an STD, you can avoid contact with your lover’s genitals but still enjoy an intensely orgasmic experience. That said, if a guy ejaculates near his partner's vagina and his semen finds its way inside, pregnancy may occur. This can happen if both are clothed and the semen soaks through. Also, if there is skin-to-skin contact of the genital area, bear in mind that it is possible to catch or transmit an STD like herpes or warts if one of you is infected.

Why it’s erotic for women
For women, the technique is known as frottage (in French, frotter, to rub) or tribadism (from Greek, tribein, to rub). This means rubbing your clitoris against any part of your lover’s body that is hard, such as their pubic bone, hip, thigh, knee or coccyx.
The great part is that you’re in charge – you decide where it feels good to rub your clit, and you get to determine the level of pressure, speed of rubbing and amount of friction that excites you.
It’s an act that can be highly erotic and many women find they are able to orgasm from the stimulation. However, if you’re rubbing against his erection through your clothes, be aware that if you rub too hard, this may start to hurt him!

The venue that you choose can add to the excitement, especially if it’s in your car or outdoors where you might be seen but if clothed, you’re more likely to get away with it.
Also, if your partner’s too tired for sex but you’re feeling frisky, you can straddle his body and rock against any hard part of him, without him feeling pressurised to get an erection to please you!

For guys, any cavity is good news
For men, the technique is known as interfemoral or intercrural intercourse – thrusting your penis between your lover’s thighs. Alternative and equally pleasing venues are the perineum, between the buttock cheeks, in their armpit, or between her breasts.
If you explore your partner’s body with this in mind, you may be surprised at how many body parts can form a partial cavity to thrust in between. These sensations can be a delicious alternative to penetration and if there is sufficient friction on the head of the penis, can lead to an intoxicating orgasm.
The addition of anything slippery like lubricants and massage butters can add a sexy dimension, especially to breasts and buttocks.

If you keep an open mind and show a willingness to be playful with your partner and explore together, you’ll find there is far more to sex than the traditional concept of penetrative intercourse.
