What causes dryness?
The moisture balance in a woman’s vagina can be affected by various factors in her lifetime, such as stress and anxiety, medication, menopause, pregnancy, an operation and exaggerated feminine hygiene practices. Age is only one factor. Vaginal dryness is a common complaint during pregnancy, after childbirth, from breastfeeding and during menopause. What if I am too dry?
When a woman's vagina is too dry during sex, this may be unpleasant or even painful as the friction can cause tiny tears in the walls of the vagina, leaving her more vulnerable to infection. This discomfort can lead to a lowered desire for sex, which may affect her relationship.
What lube should I use?
